I have used Green Motion several times over the last year and have found their service excellent. Just remember the following things when booking with them. If you are not coming from abroad, bring a utility bill with you to prove your address. Get your DVLA code before you arrive and finally, use a credit card not a debit card to pay with. Thanks guys. Faultless performance from Green Motion car hire. Both minibus drivers to and from the airport were chatty and very informative. Waited less than 10 minutes each way. Marie at the booking office was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The car was great, nearly new. Will definitely be using them in the future.
I often hire cars from Gatwick and always use this company. Fantastic service, great team, very smooth collection and drop off. Cars clean and nearly new. After drop-off I left my handbag with passport, wallet etc. in the green-motion shuttle bus. The team swung into immediate action, retrieved my bag and still made my flight on time! I'd highly recommend using this company.
I was previously pleased with initial service and product delivery received by Green Motion until recent events of Nov 2018.My latest assessment is their customer model is misleading with low car rentals with aims to generate revenue via insurance products and also in my case claims of damages.Tips:1.Assess total cost (rental + insurance) against other providers so you're making an informed decision.2. If you use this company, make sure you take pictures all round the car as this company do not take pictures and would look to claim damage if you don't have evidence. Their condition reports are not accurate so make sure you don't rely on it!!
I have used Green Motion at Gatwick several times now and shall henceforth stick with them rather than using other car hire companies in the area. The rates are competitive and the staff are friendly and efficient, going the extra mile. To illustrate: My preferred hire car is a Fiat 500 and on a couple of occasions, I have expressed slight disappointment when another model has been allocated to me; to my delight, it has been arranged then and there for one to be cleaned and made available to me. I also like the fact that the Green Motion shuttle vehicle is easily visible from afar (which is not always the case with other companies).
