Arrived but had not booked but was seated straight away. Waitress was attentive but with out giving the feeling you were being watched. Food was at a high standard and arrived in a timely manor, overall a good experience.
A lovely building which is full of character. The staff are a little hit and miss, the first person serving was not unfriendly but also forgot to inform us what wasn't available. Also told us the kitchen was busy and we would need to wait nearly an hour and seemed surprised we were ok waiting. In reality it took less than 20 minutes and the place was almost empty. The food fits the price bracket well and the second person serving was great and very attentive. Star lost for initial service and glass on the floor all round our table.
Lovely food and a few smaller appetite dishes. Friendly service. Good busy atmosphere.
Attractive building, good size car park. Food was reasonable price and tasted great. Customer service was fantastic. An error was made with our order but they instantly apologised and put it right, no need to complain. Made to feel your custom was wanted even at this busy period of time. Looking forward to returning.
Lovely staff, very helpful. Kitchen staff lost the plot though. Duck breast cooked to biscuit and steaks (medium requested) also very, very well done. Game Pie? Well I've never had fatty venison, pheasant and partridge, so none too sure of the provenance. 150 for six people.
