The six bells is always such a friendly place. A lovely building with, homely feel, loads of character including a fireplace, and large outdoor area. However recently it has been let down by the lack of staff, and regularly running out food and ales. The food is always nice so it is such a shame.
A lovely building full of charm. Sadley very little atmosphere via the staff who in truth are not supported by a manager's influence. Mixed grill had no sausages or black pudding. For goodness sake cook just use a little common sense. Was a bit deflated so didn't try desert. But coffee was good.
Architecture is amazing. Old and lovely place. Good food and drinks. Very friendly staff. Loved the experience.
Great venue, one of the oldest inns in the area. Good selection of lagers. Haven't eaten here recently, so cannot comment, but last time, it was "homely". Worth a visit.
A real piece of history. Fantastic pub, several hundred years old. I officially declare their "thrice cooked chips" to be the best french fries on earth. Great service, reasonable prices. This is the perfect place for a memorable night.
