Interesting workplace of a former racing driver, with many pics on the walls. Pizza excellent, with legendary Wetherspoons value.
It is part of the Wetherspoons franchise. Very reasonably priced meals, even though this is the centre of Horley and close to Gatwick airport. My husband had a tasty broccoli soup. We each had steak and kidney pudding and it all came to just over 10. The service was friendly and efficient. Toilets were clean.
What you'd expect from a Wetherspoons. Usually clean, busier on a Friday, the best way to order is through the app and they rarely run out of stuff. It can sometimes be slow, if you are visiting be warned the Waitrose car park is a max 2 hours stay and they have numberplate recognition cameras.
Nice cosy warm fire on a winters day. Pleasant staff. Usual good n drink menu. Quite good.
Decent spoons on the high Street of Horley. As always prices are decent, drinks and good are good in choice. They are quite quick with delivering from the app. The interior decor is comfortable to sit in and well maintained. The pub itself is about a 2 minute walk from the train station.
