Had afternoon tea here, the food was of reasonable quality, and although friendly enough, the service was poor. Food was slow to arrive, the tea didnt turn up until 20 minutes after the food and then had to wait another 10 minutes for a jug of milk.Some of the sandwiches were dry as if they had been kicking around for a while.Could be five stars if the service was a little more attentive, particularly as it didnt seem busy.Put me off of a return visit.
This is a nice looking pub. I have been there a few times. Quite standard I would say.
great pub and amazing beer,food and staff and dog friendly....what's not to like? a little slow sometimes when busy but so what! well worth the wait, faultless
Very nice and cozy pub, good food and drinks. Very nice idea of opening on Xmas day for 2 hours and literally all the community gathered for a pint while their turkey was in the oven. Highly recommended.
A great cosy pub that serves hearty and extremely tasty food. In the early evening it can be nice and quiet. It's a pub that has that real country and homely feel to it; plus is perfect for a meal with friends and family. There's plenty of parking at the back and a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is good. There is lots of choice on the menu and it's all very delicious.
